Here is my first try to document the steps required to have NSK compile and run.

Please do check / corrct /complete this (should we add this to the users doc?)

To get NSK up'n'running after you have downloaded it you need:

- to have Visual Studio 2005 installed

- to download Nunit 2.2.8 for .NET 2.0 and register it in the GAC

- to copy files from
C:\NSK\Baseline\src\ManagedDesigns.Northwind.Data.SqlServer\bin\Debug
to C:\NSK\Baseline\src\ManagedDesigns.Northwind.Windows.UI\bin\Debug
because ManagedDesigns.Northwind.Data.SqlServer is referenced
by the App.Config

- to have SqlServer Express installed with Northwind sample database created
(Visual Studio Quick Start install both)

- to run aspnet_regsql.exe against Northwind database

- to run Web Site Administration Tool from Visual Studio 2005 (menù WebSite
item ASP.NET Configuration) and create a new user

- run ManagedDesigns.Northwind.Windows.UI Windows app and view Customers

- run ManagedDesigns.Northwind.Web ASP.NET app and browse customers list

For some reason I get the message that Visual Studio is unable to load the project ManagedDesigns.Northwind.Web.UI application, that the project type is not supported. Any ideas?

The "Web.UI" project has been created using the "web application" project template, so it requires Visual Studio 2005 SP1
